This photograph was taken in October 1964 and documents multiple St. Louis streetcars gathered near the Keating Car House facility during the final decade of the city’s street railway operations.

Keating Car House served as one of the system’s operational and storage points, where cars were maintained, staged, or retired as route conversions accelerated. The image shows both streamlined PCC-type equipment and earlier streetcar designs, illustrating the transitional mix typical of the period.
