Printed during the 1910s, this festive Christmas postcard features Santa Claus carrying a sack of toys beside a snowy rooftop with a printed holiday greeting below.

Early twentieth-century Christmas postcards frequently presented Santa Claus as a roaming winter visitor moving through snowy village scenes while delivering toys and seasonal wishes. Publishers used soft halftone coloring, stylized lettering, and sentimental verses to create affordable holiday keepsakes that were mailed between friends and relatives during the peak postcard era.

The illustration shows Santa in a red suit carrying a large sack filled with toys, candy canes, and dolls while pausing near the edge of a snow-covered roof. The lower panel includes the printed verse “Here’s a wish, sincere and true, That Santa Claus may visit you,” framed beneath the “Merry Christmas” greeting in decorative black lettering. The reverse features a divided back format with handwritten holiday wishes signed “From Harold.”
