This embossed 1910s Christmas postcard features Santa Claus presenting a lace-trimmed doll to a young girl beneath snow-covered evergreen branches and pinecones.
Printed during the 1910s, this holiday postcard uses richly layered chromolithographic color, embossed textures, and metallic gold framing common to high-grade Saxony Christmas cards of the era. Santa appears in a deep red hooded robe with green gloves and a shepherd-style staff, while the child kneels in prayer beside an oversized pink ribbon bow and winter-white dress accented with gold dot decoration. The lace-edged doll, snow-draped pine boughs, and ornate Christmas Greetings lettering create a highly specific composition that separates this design from more generic Santa postcard imagery.
The reverse features multilingual postcard stock markings and a Printed in Saxony imprint with period correspondence written across the divided back. Embossed surface detail remains especially strong across the beard, robe folds, pine needles, and gilt border elements, giving the card strong visual depth typical of premium German holiday postcard production before the First World War.
