Santa Claus Axe Pine Trees Letter 1910s Christmas Postcard Posted

This 1910s Christmas postcard features Santa Claus carrying an axe beside snow-covered pine trees alongside a handwritten-style holiday message panel.

The illustration presents a compact folk-art style Santa in a red suit trimmed with dark fur while standing in a snowy woodland landscape. A large cream-colored letter dominates the center of the composition with a message signed Santa Claus promising a Christmas tree and presents for a “little friend.” Tall evergreen trees frame the right side of the card, reinforcing the winter forest setting and tree-cutting theme suggested by Santa’s axe.
