This 1908 Christmas postcard features a portrait illustration of a young girl framed by holly leaves and winter greenery in an ornate seasonal design.

Christmas greeting postcards from the late divided-back era frequently combined idealized child portraiture with symbolic holiday elements including holly, evergreen branches, snow-covered landscapes, and decorative gilt accents. Publishers during the first decade of the twentieth century emphasized richly colored lithographic artwork intended to function both as seasonal greetings and collectible keepsakes during the height of postcard popularity.

The postcard itself presents a detailed portrait of a girl wearing a pink bonnet and ribboned collar surrounded by holly leaves and red berries against a snowy evergreen background. The front includes a visible 1908 copyright line and Greetings caption, while the reverse features an early divided-back format with handwritten inscription and unused stamp box.
