This postcard dates to the 1940s and depicts Boggio’s Parisienne Rotisserie, a distinctive Denver restaurant located at Tremont at Broadway during a period of expanded urban dining and roadside-oriented commercial design.
The illustrated façade features a symmetrical storefront with arched window bays, decorative tile accents, and a prominent roofline sign incorporating the Boggio’s name and rotisserie imagery. A portrait medallion of the proprietor appears at the upper right, a period design device used to personalize restaurant branding and reinforce identity. The scene is rendered in saturated color on linen-textured stock, consistent with mid-1940s postcard production.
The reverse is unposted and includes a printed description identifying the restaurant and location. The card functions as a visual record of mid-century restaurant architecture and graphic branding in Denver’s Broadway corridor.
