In July 1967, Louisville photographer Bill Rhodes documented the Arthur Bros Circus street parade, capturing a decorative pony wagon carrying costumed performers during the circus procession.

Arthur Brothers Circus traveled extensively across regional American towns during the mid twentieth century, maintaining the long-standing tradition of circus street parades that preceded performances. These parades showcased decorated wagons, animals, performers, and mounted escorts, creating a public spectacle that advertised the arrival of the traveling show while drawing crowds toward the showgrounds.
